MAIN ENTRANCE
The main gate entrance is located at 6th Street and Rural Road. It will be open by 8:00 p.m., and at the earliest, event gate will be open by 7:30 p.m.

DISABLED ACCOMMODATIONS
To accommodate disabled guests, there will be designated handicapped accessible seating – please indicate need upon entry at main entrance. Accessible parking available, see “Parking” section.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Valley Metro provides various means of public transportation to and from Arizona State University. The Light Rail Station closest to the event is the “ASU Rural” – south of University on Rural Road. CONDUCT DURING EVENT
The Carmona for Arizona campaign reserves the right to deny entry or eject from the facility guests displaying inappropriate behavior deemed unsafe, as determined by event management and/or public safety personnel. Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Throwing objects of any kind
  • Demonstrating unruly behavior
  • Engaging in behavior that endangers the safety of attendees.


SECURITY
Security for the event will be provided by event management, ASU Police, City of Tempe Police Department, and the United States Secret Service.

BAGS
Bags including fanny packs, back packs, and purses all smaller than 12"x12"x12" are allowed into the event. Please be aware that for the safety of those attending, all bags will be searched upon entry.

BANNERS/SIGNS
Banners, signs, flags and/or issue pamphlets are not allowed into the event.

CAMERAS/PHOTOGRAPHY
Professional photography/cameras are not allowed in the event without a media credential. Attendees are welcome to bring personal cameras and video cameras into the event. However, flash photography, monopods and tripods are not permitted.

ITEMS NOT ALLOWED
For the safety and security of our attendees, the following items are not permitted onto the performance lawn:

  • Soft or hard sided coolers, ice chests
  • Thermos bottles
  • Bikes, skateboards or scooters
  • Cans and glass containers
  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Outside beverages (Exception: sealed water bottles 44oz. or smaller)
  • Signs, Banners, poles/masts
  • Bags larger than 12"x12"x12"
  • Tripods/Monopods for cameras
  • Firearms/weapons
  • Portable lawn chairs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Where is the Sun Devil Performance Lawn?
A: The Sun Devil Performance Lawn is immediately south of the Verde Dickey Dome, otherwise known as the Sun Devil Football “Bubble,” located at 511 South Rural Road. (6th Street and Rural Road).

Q: Where is the closest light rail station?
A: The closest light rail station is the “ASU Rural” station located at ASU/University Dr. and Rural Rd. stop, just Northeast of the Biodesign Institute on campus.

Q: Will there be seating available?
A: There will be a limited number of bleacher seats, however the nature of the event being a “rally” the majority of attendees will be standing.

Q: Can foldable lawn chairs be brought in?
A: No. There will be limited bleacher seating, however the nature of the event being a “rally” the majority of attendees will be standing and/or occupying “standing room only” space.

Q: Can signs or other materials be passed out to attendees?
A: No. Homemade signs, yard signs and/or other posters, pamphlets or information cards will not be allowed into the event.

Q: Where is the “Free Speech” Zone located?
A: The “Free Speech” Zone will be located on Sparky’s Lawn located west of Rural Road on the south side of 6th Street.

Q: Can tickets be picked up at the location site before the event?
A: Yes. A limited number of general admission same day tickets will be available outside of the main gate starting at 7:00 p.m.
